We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team and make a meaningful impact. Position Overview:
The Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for originating residential mortgages and guiding clients through the mortgage process to achieve successful closings. You’ll build strong relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys, and other professionals to establish a robust referral network that promotes the bank’s products and services. This role offers the opportunity to drive business and meet production goals while providing outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with centers of influence such as realtors, builders, attorneys, and other personal/professional contacts to generate mortgage referrals.
Generate complete and accurate mortgage applications while adhering to all policies and procedures.
Cross-sell bank products and services by referring customers to branches, while consistently meeting and exceeding loan production goals.
Demonstrate knowledge of conventional and government mortgage lending guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate response and documentation throughout the sales process.
Education & Experience:
BA/BS preferred, or 3+ years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Base Salary: $35,000 + Commission
