Motion Builder Animators
About the Role
We're looking for experienced Motion Builder Animators to join our client's team and bring life to high-end cinematic and gameplay sequences. You'll contribute to delivering believable performances and expressive facial animation, blending motion capture and keyframe techniques to produce exceptional, realistic results.
Responsibilities
Review and provide constructive feedback on character and facial animation to ensure quality and consistency.
Create compelling, lifelike character animation using hand-keyed techniques and by refining motion capture data.
Apply a deep understanding of animation principles—timing, pose, and intent—to every shot.
Mentor and guide other artists, sharing expertise across both artistic and technical aspects of the craft.
Qualifications & Skills
Advanced user of Motion Builder and Maya, with a strong understanding of animation workflows.
Experience animating and integrating Metahumans.
Confident using ShotGrid to track progress and collaborate with production teams.
Solid foundation in classical animation principles and cinematic storytelling.
Highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience working with remote or external collaborators is highly valued.
