AmberStudent is a long-term accommodation booking platform for students. amber helps 80M students worldwide, find and book full-time accommodations near their universities, without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized and cumbersome paperwork, and broken payment process. We are the leading student housing platform globally, with 1M student housing units listed in 6 countries and across 80 cities.
What are we looking for:
We’re searching for a motion graphics designer cum videographer to help us develop great video content that can be shared across numerous platforms and channels. You’ll require a solid grasp of motion graphics methods as well as a keen eye for detail. You must have experience in using cameras and shooting equipment. You’ll work together with a really smart team of writers, visualisers, and design thinkers to create films across a wide range of applications, from stunning images to animated characters, from youtube shorts to engaging reels. You’ll also need to help organise the creative process and translate the graphical concepts into stunning motion graphics.
Roles and responsibility:
Motion graphics and video content creation for the website & social media.
Collaboration with designers and content writers to turn static ideas into motion graphics/videos.
Finding aesthetically pleasing design solutions to challenging business problems.
Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition / FL Studio.
Needs to work closely with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Basic understanding of Cinema 4D, Maya, or Blender is optional but an added bonus.
1+ years of experience.
Organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize work are essential.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and make presentations
Strong interpersonal skills
Aptitude to build relationships across the organization
Ability to accept feedback and work in a professional manner
Capacity to handle many tasks concurrently and work under deadlines.
