Job Overview:
As a Motion Graphics and Video Editor, you will be responsible for conceptualising and creating visually compelling motion graphics and editing high-quality videos for various platforms. You will work closely with clients and the creative team to bring ideas to life, ensuring that the final product aligns with client requirements while maintaining a creative edge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creative Conceptualization: Develop creative ideas and concepts for motion graphics and video content based on client briefs and requirements.
• Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into engaging, polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, clear storytelling, and high-quality visuals.
• Motion Graphics Design: Create dynamic motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that align with the creative vision and client goals.
• Adhere to Brand Guidelines: Ensure that all videos and animations are in line with the client’s branding, visual identity, and messaging.
• Content Optimization: Edit and optimize video content for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites, ads) ensuring proper formatting and aspect ratios.
• A/B Testing and Feedback Implementation: Continuously improve motion graphics and video quality through client feedback and A/B testing of visuals and edits.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in motion graphics design, video editing software, and creative strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in motion graphics design and video editing (portfolio required).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing and motion graphics software.
• Creative skills to conceptualize, design, and develop motion graphics that match client requirements.
• Solid understanding of video editing techniques, color grading, sound mixing, and storytelling.
• Ability to work with various video formats and ensure optimization across platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually engaging content.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects at once.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, able to take direction and feedback from clients and team members.
• Ability to think creatively, bring fresh ideas, and solve challenges through design.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in sound design and integrating music and sound effects into video content.
• Familiarity with social media video optimization for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
