ROLE SUMMARY
The Motion Graphics Coordinator (Contract) will be assigned to productions and will be responsible for breaking down scripts, attending meetings with production, budgeting hours for motion graphics builds, and creating and delivering design briefs to our team of Motion Graphics Designers. You will provide design and story feedback to the artist (alongside the Creative Director) until the graphics build is complete, and then send it to the director, writers, and showrunner for review.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Read and create script breakdowns identifying screen graphic elements on laptops, phones, tablets, TVs, and computer monitors.
Budget the hours a motion graphics artist needs to complete each creative build.
Assist creative team leadership in scheduling artists onto creative builds.
Create and deliver design briefs to designers via project management software (Wrike) and Zoom.
Create and maintain an Asset Tracker spreadsheet with the assets/information needed from other departments.
Provide design and story feedback to the artist alongside the company’s Creative Director.
Send completed graphics previews to the director, writers, and showrunner for external review and facilitate any necessary revisions with the artist.
Keep project management software updated with the latest one-liner schedules from production.
Update creative briefs and budgets as needed based on script revisions from production.
Budget for and deliver additional screen graphics elements to VFX as needed

Prior experience in the film or television industry is a plus.
