We work at the intersection of design, consumer behaviour, strategy, and technology translating neuroscience led insights into products, platforms, identities, AR/VR applications, and digital experiences people actually use.
We question what should be built, why it should exist, and how it should evolve. We are now building our Core Motion Design Team
Why this role exists
At Mouse & Cheese, motion is not decoration. Motion is how ideas breathe, how brands speak, and how stories move people. This role exists to build our motion design pipeline from zero from concept to execution and to own how our brand and client narratives move across screens, formats, and platforms.
You will shape how our work feels in motion.
What you will own:
• Own the motion pipeline: ideation → storyboard → design → animation → delivery
• Translate brand and strategy into motion first narratives
Build motion systems for:
• Brand films
• Social content
• Product explainers
• Typography led motion stories
• Set motion quality standards and workflows
• Collaborate with brand, content, and product teams
• Push visual storytelling across formats and durations
• Maintain consistency of brand language in motion
Skills Needed:
• Strong motion design fundamentals (timing, rhythm, composition, transitions)
• Storytelling through motion, not just effects
• Ability to take an idea from blank frame to final render
• Visual thinking across:
• Video formats
• Illustration based motion
• Typography led motion
• Short form content
• Strong sense of pacing, music, and narrative flow
• Ability to organise, time management, and project pipeline management
• Taste: you know when to stop animating
Tool Stack
• After Effects (core)
• Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve (editing & assembly)
• Illustrator (asset creation)
• Cinema 4D / Blender (basic 3D is a strong plus)
• Motion plugins & expressions (comfort with speeding up workflows)
• Sound design basics (music, beats, transitions)
