About us- Parthenios PTY LTD trading as George’s Auto Prestige has been operating in the Illawarra for over ten years and is a well-respected repairer of European vehicles. We have created a strong customer base and are determined to provide a positive experience for all clients.
We’re currently looking for an experienced Mechanic / Auto Technician to join our expanding service team.
About the job - We're a workshop that primarily works on European vehicle's. We require Mechanic tradesman that are able to remove engines/transmissions, work on suspension/steering components and carry out logbook services. Double checking all work carried out to ensure vehicle repairs meet manufacturer's specification. A "normal" day in the workshop consists of (but not limited to) quoting repairs, diagnosing repairs and carrying out services. This job requires an individual that can work well in a team and individually.
About our new team member - The ideal candidate will be trade qualified with a strong background in automotive servicing. One year experience since completing qualification would be great, experience with European cars will be highly regarded.
Important Qualities and Skills (included but not limited to):
AQF Cert III, AQF IV or equivalent
Current driver’s license
Loyal and strong work ethic
Attention to detail
High quality workmanship
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Must have European vehicle experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $74,000.00 – $77,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Supplementary Pay:
Overtime pay
Licence/Certification:
Australian driver's licence (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
