Motor Mechanic
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicle engines, transmissions, and components.
Repair or replace damaged, worn-out, or defective parts to restore vehicles to optimal condition.
Disassemble engines, transmissions, and other systems for inspection and ensure parts are functioning properly.
Reassemble engines and components after repairs, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
Conduct testing and adjustments to ensure all mechanical parts are working correctly after repairs.
Use diagnostic tools and computers to assess vehicle performance and identify issues.
Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and issue certificates or reports on necessary repairs.
Communicate with customers, providing clear explanations of issues and repair estimates.
Provide roadside assistance and on-site repairs in the event of vehicle breakdowns.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental standards, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and inspections for customer reference and warranty purposes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Certificate III/IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years in automotive maintenance and repairs within Australia.
You must exhibit the following as a minimum:
Must be Residing in Australia.
Hold a current Australian drivers licence for manual vehicle.
Have an understanding for written and speaking English
Have a basic tool kit.
Work as part of a team and embrace in house training where needed.
Provide a reference from a previous employer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
