Job Title: MoveIT Administrator
Location: Remote – Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a MoveIT Administrator to manage and support our file transfer operations across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have experience with Progress MoveIT and be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant data transfer processes. This is a remote full-time contract role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a background in system administration or file transfer technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, configure, and support Progress MoveIT Automation and Transfer environments.
• Create, schedule, and maintain automated file transfer jobs and workflows.
• Ensure secure and compliant file transfers across internal and external networks.
• Monitor system logs and alerts for errors, performance issues, and failed transfers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot file transfer issues.
• Maintain and update user accounts, permissions, and system access.
• Document processes, job configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Support patching, upgrades, and integration with other enterprise systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with Progress MoveIT Transfer and Automation platforms.
• Understanding of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to data transfer workflows.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, and certificates.
• Ability to document configurations and procedures clearly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
