About this opportunity:
Ericsson is a leading Telecom organization dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled IP + Cloud Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success. The IP + Cloud Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing VMware NSX-T environments with a focus on routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall functionalities. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IP and cloud also good to have VMware NSX-T.
What you will do:
• Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI products – HDS, SDI, SDN, CEE, ECCD along with IP NW products MV ( Router, switches ,firewall )to be able to support the operations for customer networks.
• Identify root cause of P2/P3/P4 Incidents and recommend appropriate resolution action and other events that Customer identify as requiring Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Ensure timely restoration of Services maintain MTTR for good customer experience & high Service availability to maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Proactive involvement to detect possible failures to ensure incident restoration/avoidance whenever engagement by Incident Manager or MS Automated Service Function.
The skills you bring:
• At least 4 years of total experience with minimum 2 years hands on Vmware NSX-T – Routing, Switching, Load Balancer, Firewall
• OpenDayLight
• Product/vendor Knowledge on any track for Switches, Routers, Firewall
• F5 Load balancer
• Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
• Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP
• Telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G Service Flow & Interfaces).
