Excellent knowledge of MS SQL server and T-SQL development including experience of designing and maintaining a transactional system; Writing efficient functions stored procedures and complex database queries using T-SQL; Solid experience in database performance tuning queries optimization error handling; ETL tools SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Familiarity with version control systems; Strong stakeholder management able to communicate at all levels and build sustainable relationships; A strong analytical and problem solving mind-set; Ability to prioritize workload in order to balance deliverables and meet necessary deadlines. Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Autosys job management system; Knowledge of C# and .Net framework; Scripting (PowerShell Python); Development and agile tools e.g. JIRA Git TeamCity Bitbucket; DevOps source control unit and integration testing continuous integration release management and other software development practices; A degree in a technical science engineering or mathematical discipline
