Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Hospital, Outpatient Physiotherapist
Permanent, 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)

About the Role
As a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, you will join our dynamic and collaborative outpatient team based at Hawke’s Bay Hospital. This role offers the chance to work across a wide spectrum of conditions including acute injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, ACC trauma, hydrotherapy, and the assessment of hip and knee arthritis for surgical consideration. You will work alongside Advanced Practitioners with access to full training, supervision and mentoring opportunities in a friendly and forward-thinking department.
This position differs from private practice with its strong focus on equity and health outcomes for the Hawke’s Bay community. You will provide patient-centred, culturally safe care and be supported to grow in specialist areas such as Hand Therapy or Women’s Health.

As a Physiotherapist, you will bring clinical expertise, compassion, and a commitment to quality care.
New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate
Experience in musculoskeletal and/or outpatient physiotherapy preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passionate about continuous learning and professional development
Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
