Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee - General Ledger Close & Reconciliations
In this role, you will be working for the Australian Client (with their core business of Insurance & Banking) and accountable for general accounting which include reconciliations, preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account, Fixed Assets Accounting, Intercompany accounting, Cash & Bank Accounting, Financial analysis and reporting.
You will work with customers/client in day-to-day operations and will be in charge for preparation of various reconciliations, posting of journals, recording the transactions in the ERP and looking into clearance of open items.
Work as Subject Matter Authority and as 1st level of troubleshooter for work done by Recs and Close team
Your role will function as an overlay of existing domain specialists and bring value through new thoughts/ways of doing work which can lead to operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities/ Job Description
Responsible for Reconciliations Preparation. Research and clearance of Reconciliation Items & Reconciliation Status Reporting
Responsible for preparation of journals and workings for closing and reporting month end and day to day activities or tasks
Preparation of monthly and daily reconciliations
Required skills:
Excellent Communication in English– both oral and written skills. Able to communicate optimally with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally!
