Job Description Summary: Customer Support Solutions and Experience(CSX) Engineering’s mission is to provide word class self-help experiences to our customers Your way to impact: Within CSX, PayPal’s Paypal customer support team is looking for a talented full-stack software engineer with strong application engineering fundamentals. Job Description:
Your day to day:
A customer champion that can work with engineers, product managers, designers and analysts to enable their business needs.
Working with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Collaborating with peers both within their team and across the organization.
Ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives.
Mentor and coach a team of highly skilled full-stack Engineers.
Be the technology leader and the voice for a high performing team.
Develop the technology strategy for the Help Experience domain.
What you need to bring:
An intellectually curious, quick study who will learn the business quickly.
Proven experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, high availability, large-scale customer facing applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts.
BS/MS in Computer Science with 10+ years of software development and engineering experience of which 3+ years hands-on experience managing and growing engineering teams.
Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns;
Solid experience building customer facing application.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript/Node/React, Java, web services (REST/JSON);
Strong Agile skills and proven track record for product delivery;
Familiar with building Conversational AI applications and web applications.
Familiar with Mobile App development
Familiar with Machine learning is a plus.
