As an Automation engineer, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of the credit products. You will collaborate with product managers, Developers and QA engineers to implement automated solutions and evaluate existing manual processes to identify opportunities for automation. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain high impact scalable technical solutions to complex technical and business problems.
The Automation Test engineer will develop technical solutions to complex problems. They will also collaborate with project test teams to implement automated solutions and evaluate existing manual processes to identify opportunities for automation. Additionally, they will analyze current automation solutions and propose strategies for enhancing the frameworks. The Automation Test Engineer will also be responsible for building and maintaining a robust automated monitoring platform.
The Automation Test Engineer will be engaged with business owners, business design teams and product development teams to ensure Business and Product functionality meets business and customer requirements and will support development through the entire product development
lifecycle.
This Automation Test Engineer must have great communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with people of varying technical levels. Responsibilities will include UAT planning and analysis, writing UAT test scripts, conducting testing, test preparation, analysis tracking, and regression testing.
Required Skills:
• 8+ years of J2EE Development experience
• Experience with common Java APIs and framework
• Experience with Restful API design and development
• Experience with Java based Web frameworks like Spring, etc.
• Experience testing web services using Postman or similar tools and creating automated scripts
• Experience executing a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts
• Experience with XML & JSON
• System architecture/design experience
• Experience working with RDBMS & strong SQL Skills
• Experience using SAS and building reporting using SAS
• Ability to communicate clearly with development teams
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
