Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role- As a lead member of our team, you will work with Designers, Product Owners and Domain Technical Leads building new experiences and improving existing products, developing robust software solutions and dependable products for PayPal’s merchants and consumer. You’ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. You need to be dynamic, collaborative and curious, as you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where continuous experimentation and innovation are a given. As a full stack web engineer in P2P team, you will be working with various feature domain and external partners in creating the next generation consumer payment experiences and building world class payments and money management integration solutions.

What do you need to bring-
7+ years professional software development experience.
Knowledge and experience in building scalable Node.js applications.
Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts
Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember etc.
Experience with build tools such as webpack, grunt, gulp, babel etc.
Experience with test frameworks: Mocha, Jest, Nightwatch etc.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and responsive design
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design etc.
Organized, able to act independently, able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
