Job Description
Principal Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the architect to design, develop, and test integrations and APIs using MuleSoft for Cloud (Anypoint Platform) and On-Premises implementations.
• Create API specifications using RAML and build solution prototypes (proof of concepts) as needed.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues with integrations, identify source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed.
• Test and improve performance of the integrations in terms of response time, reliability, and resource usage.
• Work with clients to translate business needs to technical solutions.
• Actively participate and assists with company events such as hiring, training and internal initiatives.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
• 5 or more years of development experience with at least 3 years focused on MuleSoft.
• Strong knowledge of Design Center, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and API Manager.
• Competent skills creating ETL processes using MuleSoft.
• Experience with a variety of MuleSoft connectors such as Salesforce, SOAP/REST Web Services, File, Database and JMS.
• Experience with deploying MuleSoft projects to both CloudHub and On-Premises servers.
• Solid hands-on experience with building and consuming RESTful/SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of API-led connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of the Java programming language.
• Solid skills writing SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or other industry leading RDBMS.
• Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test, and support.
• Detail oriented and proactive in taking measures to avoid or mitigate issues.
• Ability to make decisions with the best interest of the firm and end-users in mind.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture.
• MuleSoft certifications and knowledge of Salesforce are a plus
