We are seeking a Multi-Drop 3.5t van driver for our client in Swanley.
As a 3.5t Multi-Drop Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various customers across London and the Southeast. You will be working alongside a drivers mate and will be required to load/unload the van, and ensure that all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining excellent customer service.
This is a temp to perm position paying £14 per hour.
Working hours: Monday to Saturday 7am to 4pm (weekend working is done on a rota basis)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliveries: Perform multiple deliveries per day, ensuring that goods are delivered to the correct locations on time (average 10-15 drops depending on location).
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy, clean, and presentable. Report any issues to management immediately.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful during all interactions with customers.
Communication: Always maintain clear communication with our client and their customers.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid manual UK driving license with category B entitlement (for vehicles up to 3.5t).
Experience: Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is preferred but not essential.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, as the role involves lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
Time Management: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Customer Focus: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
