Job Description
As a Multi-site Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. In this dynamic role, you’ll support multiple programme sites within your allocated area - travelling between locations on different days to ensure our programmes run smoothly and consistently.
You’ll be working a minimum of 5 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday. Please note: This is a multi-site role, so reliable transport is required as you will be travelling between different programme locations within your allocated area.
Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).
Here’s what you’ll be up to
Supervising and supporting tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
Supporting your Programme Manager to deliver smooth, engaging sessions across multiple sites
Travelling between different programme locations within your area as rostered
Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members at each site
Identifying and escalating any concerns around behaviour, wellbeing, or safety to ensure everyone feels supported

Qualifications
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
Can get to sKids Sunnynook as well as other North-Shore sites with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!
Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
