The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Facilities Team who are responsible for ensuring that utility plant and equipment meets operational requirements, that regulatory and legislative tasks are performed to the required standards and at the appropriate times
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
• Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the scheduled programme
• Identifies and performs corrective and reactive maintenance to ensure plant and equipment operates to its optimum
• Maintain records for historical and equipment trending by use of a CMMS system or manual systems
• Operate the BMS control system to assess and interrogate plant and equipment performance.
• Perform system shutdowns and isolations in accordance with a safe system of work
• Monitor and supervise contractor personnel
• Ensure work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies/procedures and client requirements where appropriate
• Work with due regard to health & safety of self & others
• Participate in the out of hours callout rota.
• Works flexibly across the site to meet business needs
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be mechanically bias and have completed an engineering apprenticeship and/or has an equivalent engineering qualification (HNC).
You will computer literate and have experience working with contractors, experience of safe systems of work and experience of regulatory compliance.
