Have experience with motors and motor controls and conveyor applications
PLC and relay logic controls in various equipment
Electrical power distribution systems
Familiar with and able to safely comply with the National Electrical Code and other local safety codes, policies, and procedures
Willing and able to work varying shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed
Willing and able to participate in safety programs and activities as required
Training/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields
Must have a knowledge of PLC and logic controls
Must be trained in basic electric and mechanical safety
Must have some basic computer experience

Responsibilities
As a highly valued member of the Dallas, TX Team, this position is responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and modification of new and existing equipment including building maintenance
This role will include maintenance support in all trades as required
Tasks include electrical wiring, electrical power-up, troubleshooting, and verification of machine settings and functions
They will complete the mechanical testing and preventative maintenance of all equipment onsite
The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management
Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Repair and maintain facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and humidification)
Prepare and operate machine tools such as grinders, and drill presses to repair or fabricate machine parts and/or fixtures
Troubleshoot motors, pumps, compressors, and any other systems in the facility
Operate scissor lifts and forklifts
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment
Able to effectively use standard electrical test equipment
Other duties/projects as assigned
This is a first shift position with general working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

AS A MULTI-CRAFT TECHNICIAN YOU WILL:

• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, compressors, and any other systems in the facility.
• Operate scissor lifts and forklifts.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Able to effectively use standard electrical test equipment.
