About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing educational video content to enhance learning experiences, ensuring clarity, engagement, and visual appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and assemble recorded footage into professional, high-quality video content that aligns with educational objectives.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, captions, and other visual effects to enhance video content.
• Optimize video content for various platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), YouTube, and social media.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and brand guidelines across all video projects.
• Collaborate with educators and content creators to understand learning objectives and tailor video content accordingly.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
• Perform color correction, audio editing, and sound design as required.
• Maintain organized archives of video footage and project files.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and software developments.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with educational content creation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of video compression, encoding formats, and export settings for different platforms.Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Film Editing, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in video editing or motion graphics are advantageous.
• 1-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an educational or EdTech environment.
