The ideal candidate will be proficient in editing videos for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Threads. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and an understanding of social media trends.
Responsibilities:
• Edit long-form podcasts and interviews for YouTube, ensuring engaging content flow and optimal viewer retention.
• Create short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) from longer videos, capturing key moments and maintaining audience interest.
• Adapt content for various aspect ratios (+:16, 16:+, 1:1) to suit different social media platforms.
• Add captions, graphics, and special effects to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with content creators to understand and execute their vision.
• Stay updated on social media trends and platform-specific best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
• Optimize videos for SEO and engagement on each platform.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across various social media platforms.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with motion graphics and audio editing.
• Understanding of social media algorithms and content performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with content creation tools for Threads, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field.
