An outstanding independent SEN school in Berkhamsted is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Music Teacher to join their team from April until Christmas. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a committed educator to deliver high-quality Music education within a specialist, nurturing environment.

The Role
• Deliver engaging Music lessons across the school, including GCSE Music
• Work with pupils with a variety of special educational needs
• Follow existing schemes of work while bringing your own creativity and expertise
• Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider teaching team
• Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment

Requirements

Essential:
• Prior experience teaching or covering GCSE Music
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the secondary curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching for learners with diverse needs

Preferred:
• Experience working in a specialist or SEN setting
• Understanding of SEMH, autism or complex needs

Open to:
• Qualified Teachers (QTS / QTLS)
• Unqualified Teachers with strong subject expertise and relevant experience
