Music Teacher – Primary & Year 7 (Pre-Flight)

0.62 -.7 FTE | Fixed Term – Commencing Term 1, 2026

Red Rock Christian College is seeking a passionate and creative Music educator to deliver our Primary and Year 7 (Pre-Flight) Music programs. This is a part-time position with the potential for expansion depending on the applicant’s experience and interests.

The Role:

Teach classroom music in the primary years, including whole-class and small group instruction (keyboard and guitar focus)

Deliver the Year 7 Music curriculum (Pre-Flight)

Opportunity to coordinate our end-of-year Presentation Night (with additional time release available)

Potential to grow the secondary music program and contribute to the wider Performing Arts events and experiences.

We’re looking for someone who:

Brings enthusiasm and vision for creative, student-centred music education

Has experience teaching a range of instruments and musical styles

Is organised and confident coordinating performance events

Is committed to working in partnership with staff, students and families in a Christ-centred learning environment

Models a vibrant Christian faith and aligns with the College’s mission and values
