Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vasant Vihar in Delhi, India. The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music theory, music performance, music education, piano, and other music-related skills to students. The Music Teacher will also be responsible for creating lesson plans, leading rehearsals, conducting assessments, and organizing music-related events and performances.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education
• Excellent Music Performance skills
• Experience teaching piano and other musical instruments
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• Experience conducting assessments and tracking student progress
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and departments
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music or Music Education
• Prior experience teaching music to students in a school setting is a plus
