This Project Manager role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in stakeholder engagement, project management and governance, and progress your career in project or change management.
The Project Manager role is required to support, implement and proactively manage Mutual Benefits funded projects which can include conducting research, implementing new operational processes, creating and piloting new products or services, or developing tools and resources for customers.
The role encompasses planning, execution, reporting and benefits realisation functions to ensure the projects are completed on time, to scope and within budget while delivering quality outcomes. The role works closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including employers, providers, and industry experts such as universities and researchers.
This will be a Full Time, 12-month contract based in our Sydney, Melbourne or Newcastle offices, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of project documentation to monitor and manage project movement, including (but not limited to);
Project initiation and Business Case
Project Charter & Plan
Project Schedule
Budget & Resource Plan
Risk and Issues Register
Change Management Plan
Status Reports
Manage external providers, by developing contracts, collaborating on project deliverables, and ensuring quality
Develop and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders
Initiate and facilitate workshops as required to assist with the definition of requirements and design of solutions
Proactively identify risks and issues on the project and facilitate mitigation/resolution
Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools
Regularly monitor and report on progress to all key stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
2-3 years demonstrated experience in managing projects on a large spectrum, or similar experience as a project co-ordinator
2 – 3 years of workers compensation or claims management experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology would be highly advantageous
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Strong stakeholder management abilities
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
