Our client is one of the fastest-growing tech startups in the UK. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, fueled by recent successful funding, they are now looking for a talented and passionate Senior Software Developer to join their dynamic team.
In the role of Senior Software Developer , your key responsibilities will include developing and building products that align with the customer needs.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in the development lifecycle of software projects. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating within the technology team to execute technology development strategies that seamlessly align with the overarching business objectives, ensuring the sustained success of the software development.
You will be responsible for coding, implementation, problem-solving and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for assisting in a variety software development tasks & projects within the Technology Department.
You’ll spend time on the following
• Participate in requirements analysis meetings and contribute to the development of technical requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code, and improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Conduct code reviews and ensure that code quality standards are maintained
• Identify and mitigate technical risks
• Be a self-starter and a team player to manage the development processes from start to finish
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements
• Manage project timelines and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Be a team player and stay involved in company activities
• Mentor team members, work closely with the line manager and provide assistance to various stakeholders on projects
You are our ideal candidate if you have
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in software development, ideally in HR Tech, HRIS or SaaS
• Proficiency in systems such as C#, .Net MVC, SQL / T-SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, WebAPI Rest, Web Services and other relevant tools
• Familiarity with GDPR and HIPAA regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
