• Must have a strong technical background with MySQL DBA, Linux Shell Script, Shell Scripts, Perl, or Python.
• Managing large-scale MySQL databases.
• Managing high transactional MySQL databases servicing OLTP and DSS applications.
• Solid understanding of MySQL internal architecture demonstrated experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Managing both non-production and production database environments.
• Creating, refreshing pre-production databases via methods including restore, clone and data pump.
• Certified MySQL DBA is a plus.
• Own the feature e2e covering solution, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support holding the quality bar high within the stipulated timelines.
• Capability to work efficiently in both roles as an Individual Contributor or as a Team player
• HA Solution/Implementation experience
• Engines (expertise in InnoDB, MyISAM is must)
• User management
• Experience with replication configuration in MySQL and various replication topologies like Master-Slave, Master-Master, Chain, multi-source.
• Backup (MySQL Dump/Snapshot)/restore + RDS Backup, Snapshot & Point in time recovery.
• MySQL Error debugging & parsing.
• Performance tuning/slow query log & analysis
• Good communication skill
