5-8 years of experience in MySQL database administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of MySQL instances
Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
Experience with in Installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of MySQL database
Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
Experience with replication configuration in MySQL(M-S & M-M)
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
Implementation, Managing and Monitoring the MySQL skilled in Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning of MySQL
Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event schedule
Responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, and provisioning of database instances.
Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Experience with DR drill in MySQL.
Experience with MySQL table partitioning.
Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
Excellent communication skill.
Good knowledge of ITIL processes & functions.
Prepare documentations and specifications
Should be having good Linux skills and Linux shell scripting. Knowledge on Ansible scripting and Kubernetes will be added advantage
Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Experience in Backup and restoration Process using different utility like Percona Xtrabackup, MySQL cluster setup
