The National Anti-Corruption Commission

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) enhances integrity in the Commonwealth public sector by deterring, detecting and preventing corrupt conduct involving Commonwealth public officials. It does this through education, monitoring, investigation, reporting and referral.

The Temporary Employment Register

The Temporary Employment Register is open for candidates to register a general expression of interest for employment with the NACC. The Temporary Employment Register enables NACC to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at short notice for non-ongoing or temporary positions. Opportunities may be offered on a full-time, part-time or intermittent/irregular (casual) basis for up to 18 months, depending on operational requirements.

Vacancies may be identified in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.

Eligibility

Employment with NACC is subject to the following conditions:

Citizenship – applicants must be an Australian Citizen.

Security clearance – NACC positions are Designated Security Assessment Positions (DSAP). The occupant of any position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Baseline, Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2.

Suitability assessment – The NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character. They must undergo a rigorous pre-employment suitability screening process that can be intrusive in nature including (but not limited to) detailed background, character, employment, police, and financial checks.

Probation - A probation period will apply to any new ongoing engagement to the Australian Public Service.
