Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Key Deliverable Expectation

Knowledge/Experience –

Must have
• Should have the capability to own up the business, form alliances and drive direct / indirect teams to achieve yearly targets
• Ability to create relationships, vertically and horizontally.
• Should have a history and an appetite of closing large deals.
• Ability to understand the solution, present it in a way to educate the customer by showing them the value addition.
• Industry knowledge & Industry connects
• Excellent written and oral communication skill.

Management
• A team player with “hunting and farming” background, to acquire new customers and develop relationship with existing customers for repeat and new orders.
• Should be able to drive the pre-tendering and tendering process in Government as well as large infrastructure customer accounts.
• Supports the operations team in business development activities in existing accounts.
• Ensures a seamless transition of project into delivery phase through the Project Manager following a successful contract closure.
• Achieves assigned sales targets and collect the receivables.

Desired Soft Skills
• Matured individual with key relationships in the Government vertical.
• Should have exposure of independently handling large tenders.
• Experience in companies with B2B business vide tenders with good understanding of commercial and legal terms and condition.
• Good communication skills both oral and written, fluency in English and one more Indian language.
• This position requires frequent travel across India and candidate must be mobile.
• Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability.
