Position Summary: Briefly describe the primary purpose and function of this position.
For Alternate channel ( Samsung &Brand Store)
Business Deliverables
Prepare sellout plan for the year for each channel
Implementation of sellout programs
Managing team of Team Leaders and In store promoters.
Business responsibility of LuxA and Brand stores channel.
Devise tools to improve sellout
Monthly review of the sellout with all stakeholders (internal & external)
Product specialist
ROI of sellout inputs
Responsible for training internal and external stakeholders.
Luxury Audio Sales:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail chain environment and provide key insights to the cross-functional executive management team.
This position will be responsible for:
Luxury Audio Sales
Manage all elements of the business relationship between HARMAN and Regional Distributors within the defined geographic region
Meeting and interacting with custom-installation audio dealers, home automation dealers, system integrators, architects and interior designers etc. on a regular basis to create a healthy sales pipeline for Harman Luxury Audio business
Creating, implementing and managing expansive sales strategic direction that delivers annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets
Handling sales of Harman Luxury Audio business solutions across geographic territories
Working with consultants to spec for projects
Working closely with customers to propose BOQs
Identifying and participating in trade shows and other events to showcase the products and derive maximum mileage out of such events
Demand forecasting and sellout planning SKU-wise and distributor wise
Ensuring Harman Luxury Audio presence for sales and demonstration in dealer and systems integrator outlets across India
Managing every aspect of new customer development from lead to closure
Handling pre-sales and post sales activities for the assigned territory
Training and motivating the team to deliver excellence in display and targets by innovative processes and implementing best practices
Provide feedback from the customers and partners to the Harman management team
Responsible for overall smooth operations across the assigned business territory
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Perquisites:
Extensive experience with a proven record of accomplishment in retail sales required. Preferred industries: Custom-installation Luxury Audio, Lighting, Home Automation, Projectors, Electronics, Consumer Durables and other relevant industries
Dynamic builder of relationships with customers, with track record of identifying new areas of opportunity and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit
Basic Qualifications: List the minimum and desired education (including degrees, licenses, certification or registrations) and experience needed to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
MBA in Marketing from a top B-school
15 years of progressive experience in sales / business development roles in multiple markets with 2-3 years of retail sales experience
Ideal candidate should have proficient computer experience (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Internet).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong functional and administrative proficiency and customer liaise skills
Strategically and operationally strong – Ability to synthesize complex information into a simple strategy and then execute and communicate against this strategy.
Strong consumer products orientation – Keen understanding of consumer wants and needs, that can be applied to creating market-winning retail sales strategies.
Solid planning and organization skills – Ability to manage complex projects and schedules necessary with this global retail operations role.
Good collaboration skills – Ability to collaborate with people and teams from all functions within Harman plus full range of industry consumer customers.
Demonstrated creativity and out-of-the box thinking – Constantly pushing new ideas and programs to solve sales and market challenges.
Business acumen – Solid business and financial background.
Travel : About 70% travel required by the ideal candidate
