By designing engaging educational materials, organising workshops and events, you will play a crucial role in inspiring a love for nature and conservation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver educational programs for diverse audiences, including schools, families, and communities.
• Research environmental topics and create relevant and up-to-date lesson plans.
• Lead outdoor activities and field trips.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and maintain exhibits and educational materials.
• Contribute to the success of the Wildlife Wing.
• Establish partnerships with schools to expand the reach of our nature-based programs.
• Organise workshops, seminars, and events to foster a connection with nature.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in environmental education.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote outreach programs through various channels, including social media and newsletters.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental education, biology, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in environmental education or a related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for nature and a commitment to environmental education
