Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Consultant for nCino to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, playing a key part in the design, configuration, and implementation of the nCino Bank Operating System. You will work closely with banking clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to commercial lending, retail banking, or treasury services.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for nCino implementation.
Configure and customize the nCino platform (built on Salesforce) to meet client needs.
Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to design and implement scalable solutions.
Assist in the end-to-end implementation process including workshops, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Facilitate client training and change management efforts.
Participate in project planning, status meetings, and issue resolution.
Stay updated on nCino releases, Salesforce changes, and industry best practices.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
2–5+ years of experience as a functional consultant, business analyst, or similar role.
Hands-on experience with nCino and/or Salesforce platforms.
Strong understanding of commercial or retail banking processes (e.g., loan origination, credit analysis, portfolio management).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred:
nCino certifications (e.g., nCino 101, Commercial Lending Specialist).
