An exciting Part-time/ Casual opportunity awaits a passionate and result driven professional to join a dynamic Registered NDIS Service Provider. JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES is committed to working with our participants, and their various support networks to best utilize their NDIS plans, achieve greater independence, and reach their NDIS goals. We are seeking to employ suitable experienced Support Coordinator with NDIS Administrator and Reporting experience to join our team in Brisbane. Successful individual will assist with support coordination for our NDIS participants and day-to-day administration when required.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Share point, Shiftcare App, One Drive and other basic computer programs
Experienced in NDIS Administration and Reporting

Have a sound knowledge of the NDIS Regulations and Standards
Creativity with support strategies
Must be a self-leader.
Key Responsibilities:

Connect participants with relevant services and supports
Support participants to understand and make the most of their NDIS plan
Manage challenges in your support environment such as access to education, health, justice services and similar
Reduce barriers that are preventing participants from implementing or using your NDIS plan as intended
Support participants negotiate your service agreements
Support participant to build capacity
Develop and design support solutions to meet participant outcomes
Assist in crisis intervention and developing capacity and resilience within the participant 's support network.
Collaborate with all stakeholders (BS, SP, OPG, PTQ etc.) to keep them informed
Assist participants in preparing for the review and reporting of their achieved outcomes.
Utilize the NDIS portal (PRODA) as required.
Budget and monitor plan expenditure and outcomes and help participants/nominees develop their capacity to do so.
Review participant needs regularly and provide appropriate crisis support including COC.
Assist participants/nominees prepare for plan review and understand the review process.
Provide progress reports to NDIA on progress toward goals and outcomes
A strong ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and results driven.
A positive attitude towards people with disabilities and the willingness to work within JCI CARE’S Values and Code of Conduct in order to meet customer needs.
Other Administration Requirement

Implement an effective onboarding process for new support workers, including training, and orientation and ensure documents are compliant.
Coordinate support worker rostering to ensure efficient allocation of resources and optimal participant outcomes.
Provide ongoing mentorship and support to support workers, fostering their professional development and growth.
Organize and manage all Participants and Staff documents in Microsoft One-Drive.
Experience using Shift Care CRM for Rostering and Record Management.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new participants, developing personalized support plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
Conduct regular check-ins with participants to assess their satisfaction, address concerns, and update support plans as needed.
Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts between support workers and participants/stakeholders, employing effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
Address any grievances or disputes promptly and impartially, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Uphold and promote JCICARE Support Services values and culture, fostering a workplace environment characterised by teamwork, respect, and inclusivity.
Lead by example and encourage staff adherence to organizational values and standards of conduct.
Conduct thorough investigations into incidents involving participants or support workers, ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations and guidelines.
Prepare and submit incident reports to relevant stakeholders, documenting findings and proposed corrective actions.
Schedule and facilitate regular meetings with participants, families, support workers, and other stakeholders to discuss care plans, goals, and concerns.
Prepare agendas, lead discussions, and follow up on action items to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Happy to Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 availability for emergencies or urgent matters, responding promptly to after-hours calls and incidents.
Generate comprehensive participant reports summarizing progress, challenges, and changes to support plans.
Maintain regular communication with participants, families, and stakeholders, providing updates, soliciting feedback, and addressing concerns.
Collaborate closely with SIL Team Leaders to coordinate support services and accommodation arrangements effectively.
Provide guidance and support to SIL Team Leaders, assisting with staffing issues, care plans, and other operational matters.
Implement strategies to promote our services and attract new participants to our programs.
Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to create targeted campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing participant sign-ups.
Participate in outreach activities, such as community events, workshops, and presentations, to raise awareness about our services and generate interest among potential participants.
Engage in Adhoc duties as assigned
JCICARE Support Services may offer incentives or bonuses for successful participant sign-ups.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Existing NDIS Support Coordinator experience
Minimum of Certificate/Diploma studies in a related field
Desirable Bachelor of Social Work or Mental Health
Previous experience in a similar role within the disability support sector highly desirable.
Strong understanding of NDIS regulations and guidelines.
Have experience in Shiftcare CRM software desirable
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive abilities
Use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM - Shift care and Zero for accounting.
Hold a current Working with Children Check and a NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
