Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced NDIS Support Worker to support a Year 10 student with mild intellectual disability in a home setting in Regent Park NSW.
This role involves providing homework assistance, supervision, and structured support to help the participant stay focused and complete school tasks.
This is a stable, ongoing weekly shift, ideal for experienced support workers or education support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide homework support and learning guidance
Assist participant to stay focused and engaged
Provide emotional support and encouragement
Maintain a safe and structured environment
Essential Requirements:
Experience working with people with disability (intellectual disability and/or ADHD preferred)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Relevant qualification in Disability Support, Individual Support, Nursing, Education, or similar
Legal Australian work rights
Highly Desirable:
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
NDIS experience
Tutoring or education support experience
Pay rate: $38–$45 per hour depending on experience.
Job Types: Casual, Contract
Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
Work Location: In person
