About the Role

As a Negotiated Pricing Specialist in the Retail Banking division, you will play a crucial role in providing informed service and pricing for negotiated retail products, including deposits and home loans. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the retail network in maintaining and expanding their deposit and lending base while ensuring pricing discipline on the bank’s cost of funds.

This service-oriented role focuses on the interaction between Pricing and the bank’s retail network. You will respond to telephone and email pricing requests from the retail network, effectively utilise pricing tools to assist in decision-making, assist with interest rate changes, build relationships and educate the branch network on pricing decisions, identify opportunities for process improvement, and undertake other pricing activities and duties as directed. Additionally, you will understand and comply with the Code of Conduct and any additional policies and procedures to ensure BOQ Group excels, complies with laws and regulations, and upholds its reputation.


About you

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong customer service focus and be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You should possess a high degree of commercial acumen in the application of pricing decisions and have a resilient and problem-solving nature. Key competencies include customer service orientation, the ability to work under pressure, high commercial acumen, and resilience and problem-solving skills
