Nestle Purina Warehouse distributes pet food across the UK. Picking and packing duties, opportunity for forklift work, packing orders for stores and creation of promotional materials.
37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for the following Operational vacancies at Hams Hall:
Warehouse Operative
Operatives are responsible for the receipt of inbound loads, picking orders, preparing loads for despatch, and loading vehicles using MHE. All of these tasks should be undertaken in a safe and healthy manner, whilst ensuring accuracy and product quality. The ideal candidate will have:
• Ability to work as a team
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse (desired but not essential)
• Experience of manual handling effectively
• Understanding of Quality and Health and Safety Standards
• Ability to work on own initiative
• MHE Licences are advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
Salary based on 37.5 hours per week, although physically on site for 40 hours. Salary for this role is £22,308.00 + shift allowance (depending on hours worked).
Shift available 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
