Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:
Networks Toolsets Engineer to support Networks Toolsets operations.
What will you be doing?
Responsible for the support of the global Networking, Firewall, load balancing, wireless and voice devices from Network Operations Toolsets based monitoring perspective on FCAPS features.
The Primary accountability will include:
• To support and assist network operations teams in identifying network issues via DX NetOps Toolsets
• Be capable of managing and maintaining the DX NetOps suite of products on RHEL platform.
• Able to do Start of Day (SoD) and Beginning of Week (BoW) checks on all the toolsets servers.
• To support all DX NetOps related configurations including reports, dashboards, device onboarding etc.
• To support the DX NetOps servers patching windows as scheduled once a month.
• To support and assist Network Operations team and assist as and when on on-call support based on ROTA.
The team are also expected to be involved proactive tasks such as delivering new projects, enhancements, improvements, and initiatives related to network monitoring, management, and Observability.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum: Diploma Holder (Professional Courses – Computers/ IT)
•Should be comfortable in basic English verbal and written communication.
•Should have five (05) years of experience of DX NetOps Tools and ten (10) years total IT experience.
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Diploma or Degree Holder (Professional – Computers/ IT)
•Good Communication Skills
•DX NetOps Certifications/ Accreditations/ Trainings is an advantage
