IT support Job description :-
- We are looking for a IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role,
your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance,
and securing data. You will also be required to advise on IT equipment upgrades.
- To ensure success as an IT support specialist, you should possess extensive experience in providing information
technology support in a fast-paced environment.
- keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
- install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- replace parts as required
- provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- support the roll-out of new applications
- set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
- work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
- rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
- test and evaluate new technology .
Familiar will all type of software installation and support user in case app/software required to install.
- Sound knowledge on windows commands and network trouble shooting on Laptop/ desktops.
- Windows XP/7/8/10/11 , Ubuntu , MAC OS & Hardware knowledge on Desktops, laptops , Apple Devices
- L1 level Printer Hardware knowledge to Open all type of Laser Printers
- DMP Printers along with OS Level knowledge
- knowledge on all OS ( Windows , MAC , Ubuntu , CentOS , Kali linux )
- Good in Remote support and troubleshooting
- Good in hardware troubleshooting
- Application Handling etc
