Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs).
Manage LAN/WAN networks, monitoring performance and minimising downtime.
Administer Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
Deploy and manage virtualised environments (Hyper-V or VMware).
Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols, and firewall rules.
Implement system monitoring and backup solutions.
Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Lead cybersecurity awareness training and response procedures.
Provide end-user support across hardware, software, and connectivity.
Assist with VoIP system deployments and IP telephony support.
Maintain documentation and contribute to system improvement projects.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and backup tools.
Sound understanding of cybersecurity practices and compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
