Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Full stack Network developer for one of their major projects.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate
engineering excellence
practices within the team and mentor associate developers
Assist in establishing peering with partner networks at new interconnect facilities globally, and work closely with network operations teams to ensure that peering and transit connections are upgraded in a timely and effective manner
Work with capacity planners and engineers to ensure the most efficient and cost effective network topology is delivered

Defines API specifications alongside engineering team based on API best practices to ensure consistency, scalability and performance of API products
Performs data analyst skills looking at data to determine trends, problems and provide solutions
Designs and implements Dev Network tutorials, documentation, sample code and support
Requirements:
Must have
8-12 years of experience in developing Network Management applications architecture, design, development and support.
Experience in IP Routing - Core IPv4 Routing Protocols like OSPF, RIP, BGP, BFD, VRRP; IPv6 Routing Protocols like OSPFv3, RIPNg, MP-BGP;
Overlay routing like EVPN, MPLS/MPLS-LDP/RSVP, VXLAN System design and development, troubleshooting.
Good understanding and experience in Layer 2 or Layer 3 VPN technologies (VxLAN, MPLS, VPLS, IP-VPN, mVPN, Open Flow, OVS-DB, BGP, BGP-EVPN), IP Multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP).
Experience with
using Network Development Tools - Sniffer, Traffic Generators, IXIA, Spirent etc. is preferred.
Good Network troubleshooting ability encompassing:
OS, Network Stack, Sniffers, switches, external network is preferred.
Excellent experience in Java programming and System Software development in Linux
Proven skills and programming experience in Java, J2EE, multi-threading, REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologies.
Knowledge of Spring, Spring boot and Hibernate.
Previous experience designing ecosystems for Web applications & API Platforms.
Experience in building, orchestrating and deploying highly scalable REST based stateless APIs/web services for web applications.
Strong
attention to detail
, and ability to work well in a close-knit team and well as across teams.
Familiarity with code versioning tools - such as Git, SVN.
Preferred:
Experience developing network management software for managing Cisco, Juniper switches or routers configuration methods (Linux, Cisco-like CLIs, JUNOS CLIs)
Experience in working with IP Routing, TCP/IP protocols, Socket Programming and Client-Server
communication
paradigms.
Experience with
SNMP and Networking MIBs, vendor specific MIBs.
Experience with
Cloud Networking technologies.
Desired (as many as possible):
Knowledge of Linux Networking (sockets, net devices, name spaces, routing, bridges, iptables, conntrack, networking device drivers etc.), Container Networking technologies (Docker)
Knowledge/Experience in
debugging
network performance issues with Switch/Router based packet and interface counters and fault conditions.
Familiarity with DNS and name resolution.
Familiarity with Graphs, Trees, Shortest Path Algorithms etc.
Familiarity with Kubernetes (Ingress, Load Balancers, Services, PODs etc.), CNI Plugins and packet paths for POD-to-POD
communication
etc.
Knowledge of Golang, Python, Shell scripting etc
