Job Details - Network Architect -PA, Checkpoint and Azure FW: Job ID: - RARR Job 2803Job Title: - Network Architect -PA, Checkpoint and Azure FWJob Type: - PermanentJob Location: - BENGALURU / BANGALORETotal Experience: - 10 - YearsSkills: - ROUTING PROTOCOLSPosted - 2+/12/2026 Job Description: - Description of Network Architect Role - Key Responsibilities - Duties and responsibilities for the position include the following; however other duties may be assigned as needed for the smooth and continued operations of the company.- Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies - Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system - Conduct lab testing on new and existing hardware and software including network, security and cloud products - Develop new tools and systems to automate tasks or to improve existing ones - Plan, design and implement networked systems, including configurations, and support/troubleshoot network problems - Develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods - Prepare the analysis of the capacity needs for network infrastructure - Work with Product Management team for new product/service development - Evaluate new network vendor technologies Required Skills and Experience- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture on carrier IP networks (CLEC/ISP) - Minimum of 7 years of hands-on routing, switching and load balancing experience, preferably in a high-traffic content delivery or cloud provider environment. - 7+ years of experience architecting service provider networks running on IP networks (running Ethernet, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Layer 2 Switching, etc.) - 7+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving complex routing and switching problems in an IP based carrier network - ******** knowledge of IP and Ethernet industry landscape including IP Core equipment, service enabling devices, Ethernet switch vendors, etc. - ******** understanding of the design and operation of large scale IP networks from the network core. - Experience with Linux and excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP). - Experience with programming Python or shell scripting, especially as it relates to SDN. - Strong in-depth networking product and technology knowledge is a must, Juniper knowledge is desired - Expert level knowledge in routing and switching protocol (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) - Strong knowledge of LAN technologies (LAN design standards and best practices) - Strong knowledge and experience with enterprise networking technologies, such as MPLS, IPSec VPN, DMVPN, VPLS, etc. - Strong knowledge of IPv6, multicast, QoS, IP fast rerouting, etc. - Strong knowledge about network security and enterprise security, such as DDOS, Firewall, IPS, Malware detection, etc. - Experience in designing internet backbone networks including solid understanding of best practices, scalability strategy, and managed security services. - Prior experience managing global teams that provide 24/7 support to clients and customers - Willingness and ability to conduct meetings and field communication outside of normal working hours to accommodate teams based internationally, as needed - Ability to work effectively with clients, senior management, staff and vendors - Previous experience working with/presenting to an executive audience - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required. Certifications- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, such as virtualization, virtual switches, virtual routers - Knowledge of SDN, NFV, and SD-WAN - Cisco or Juniper 'E' level certification is a plus - Additional security and VoIP certification is a plus - Juniper, M-series, T-series - JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE
