esponsibilitie
Expertise in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of all router, switch, and network traffic load-balancing systems throughout the equipment’s lifecycle
Work with various vendors that supply connectivity and voice solutions, utilize the NES support agreements with those vendors
Expertise in implementation, operation, and maintenance of firewalls and other security appliance
Must be able to provide support outside of 8am-5pm business hours and weekends as needed, as well as participate in an on-call rotation schedule
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Independently, and rack/stack as needed
Periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders and working with hand
Perform break/fix for assigned incidents from the servicenow ticket queue
Education/Experience
5+ years’ experience with route/switch, firewalls, WLC’s, qos, voip, and load-balance
Associate degree or high
Experience with BGP and OSPF and troubleshooting related issues in a complex and highly secured network
Experience supporting analog PBX and experience with conversions, migrations, and upgrades to modern voice communications technolog
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Experience
CCNA (minimum), CCNP, CCIE, comptia Network +, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or
Azure Network Engineer Associate certification or higher prefered.
Experience managing server operating systems such as Windows and Linux
Experience managing blade server technologies, server hardware and virtualized environments such as VMware
Experience with QOS for VOIP environments
Experience with PBX/voip systems from various OEM's
