Network Engineer

Designation: Network EngineerQualification: - Bachelor's / Master's degree in an information technology-related field of study with a network engineering focus.Working Hours: + AM to 6 PMFull-Time JobExperience: FreshersJob Description:-A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.Dependable and flexible when necessary.Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.Responsibilities:-Responsible for cross-functional coordination to resolve internal and customer-related issuesMaintaining internal and customer communication during the ticket resolutionEscalating issues to the next level as per defined proceduresAssist in the documentation for customer network and internal knowledge databaseAdherence and compliance to the defined processes and tasks assignedResponsible for taking customer calls, ticket creation, progression and closureTroubleshoot customer network issues (LAN & WAN) and provide corrective actions to restore the customer servicesManage ticket logging and escalations with carriers and suppliersTroubleshoot and resolve WAN link issues in coordination with carriers and suppliersResponsible for the overall maintenance of the customer network, devices and servicesAct as 1st point of contact for all internal and external issues and notifications in regard to Brennan Voice and Data servicesSkill:-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent with all things ITGood at problem-solvingGood at organizing, prioritizing and multitaskingEffective communication (written and verbal)CreativityAdaptabilityTeamwork and Co-operationLeadershipOrganizational SkillsStress ManagementInterpersonal Skills (Emotional Intelligence)Customer RelationsAnalytics and TroubleshootingAble to explain technical problems in a simple wayGood in a teamDedicated to keeping their skills and knowledge freshFirewalls and SecurityNetworkingProgramming LanguagesHardware and Infrastructure
