Duties And Responsibilities
• Monitoring network engineering performance and ensuring system availability and reliability
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team
• Cisco ISR & ASR Router (1002X, 9010, 4000, 2900, 800) - Cisco (Nexus & Catalyst), juniper and dell L2 and L3 Switches - Cisco Access Points (autonomous and controller based) - Cisco ACS & ISE
• Should have hands-on WAN technology: MPLS, P2P, STM, ISDN.
• Should have worked with network monitoring tool: Solar winds, Wire shark
• Proven hands-on network engineering experience
• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Static routing, OSPF, BGP, PPP, TCP/UDP, STP, VPC, Fabric path, VDC, Port-channel, Port security, Port Span, Policy-based routing, QOS, Multicasting, IGMP, PIM dense mode, PIM Sparse Mode, PIM SSM, Tacacs, Radius, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, IP SLA, GRE Tunnel, IP SEC tunnel, Wireless, SNMP, Access control list
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools
• University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• A routine check on HA of Network and thorough knowledge of VLAN, and Security.
• Cloud Computing / Cloud infra-access. And setup
• Partners with the engineering, infrastructure, security, and project management teams to help implement new systems that are scalable and highly resilient
• Develops automation tools and processes to help scale operations
• Responsible for disaster recovery testing and restoration of critical services during DR events
• Provides systems and services expertise and drives operational best practices
• Participates in capacity and scalability planning
• Research develops and implements new technologies and practices
• Leverages or builds appropriate technical tools to perform administration tasks, root-cause analysis, and service restoration (such as backup, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring
• Develops and maintains positive and cooperative relationships, inside and outside of teams, interacting in a friendly, open, honest, and accepting manner
• Mentors junior systems administrators
• Ensures 24/7 availability of the production servers and applications within a team environment
• Resolves Tier 3 incidents and requests. Requires on-call availability on team rotation outside of regular business hours
• Works to develop internal SOPs and Service handbooks for key systems and services
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Required Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering Discipline, or relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience with supporting open-source infrastructure, systems administration, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows systems administration
• Experience with Puppet, Chef, or other configuration management tools
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and HyperV
• Experience with DNS and DHCP technologies
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with system performance monitoring & fine-tuning
• Experience with backup technologies
• Proven technical experience and a solid foundation in operating systems
• Strong work ethic and a natural tendency to take ownership of incidents & requests
• Good team communication skills, with technical and non-technical colleagues

• Experience with AWS
• Experience working with SAN/NAS storage environments
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience in programming languages (C#, Perl, Python a plus)
• ITIL certification or working knowledge
• Additional advanced certifications (i.e. Microsoft, VMWare, etc.)
• Experience with Linux system administration such as Red Hat / CentOS a plus
