Client: Trading Firm
Salary: $150,000-$250,000 + Bonus
Location: New York
Skills: Cisco, Arista, Linux, Multicast, Python, Ansible, Low Latency, Cloud
The role:
My client, an Elite Trading firm are seeking a Network Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, Engineer and optimise the HFT network
• Designing cloud based integrations
• Managing market connectivity
• Managing Data Center implementations
• Configuration reviews and audits
Skills required:
• 3-4 years of Network experience, ideally in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Cisco / Arista
• Some Linux experience
• Multicast experience highly desirable (PIM, IGMP etc.)
• BGP / OSPF experience
• Experience within VXLAN / EVPN overlay tech
• Virtualisation experience (VMware, KVM, Proxmox etc.)
• VPN configuration
• Network automation experience useful (Python, Ansible)
• Experience working within AWS, GCP or Azure useful
