Main Responsibilities:
Main job responsibilities are:
• Work over different customer and backbone environments
• Participate in direct communication with customers and third party companies aiming to resolve the problem
• Communicate internally with Incident Managers and Tier 1 engineers, providing help and assistance over different customers’ problems
• Work with different TAC vendors
• Configuration of network elements and migration of services
• Manage the Tier 2 ticket queue for the Global Silver base of customers
• Understand, support and manage to GTT’s key SLA’s
Essential Criteria:
Essential for the job criterias are:
• Minimum 2 years of experience within Operations environment of a Service Provider or System Integrator
• Minimum 2 years of work in a technical IP support position
• Qualification: CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA or equivalent knowledge
• General knowledge of telecom industry and standards
• Excellent experience with IP, MPLS and routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) in an ISP and enterprise environment
• Excellent Cisco and Juniper hardware and software knowledge
• Good to have basic knowledge of SD-WAN, WAN Optimizers, NFV and Security
