Job Title: Network Engineer (L2/L3)Location: Pune/Mumbai (Hybrid Mode)Experience: 5-10 yearsNotice Period: ImmediateAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures. This role requires a strong focus on routing and switching technologies, particularly in service provider or large enterprise environments. The position will be based in either Pune or Mumbai and will follow a hybrid work model.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain complex L2/L3 networks, including MPLS-based VPNs (L2VPN, L3VPN).Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS.Implement and manage various network technologies, including VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing, VPLS, VxLAN, EVPN.Design and implement Multicast solutions.Work with traffic engineering protocols like RSVP and LDP.Implement and manage VPLS and L3VPN services.Experience with PCEP and BGP-LS is highly desirable.Perform network capacity planning and optimization.Provide Tier 2/3 support for network related issues.Develop and maintain network documentation.Collaborate with other teams to ensure network stability and performance.Participate in on-call rotation for network support.Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and trends.Required Skills and Experience:5-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts.Extensive experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS).Hands-on experience with MPLS technologies (L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS).Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing.Solid understanding of VxLAN and EVPN technologies.Experience with Multicast implementation and troubleshooting.Experience with RSVP and LDP for traffic engineering.Knowledge of PCEP and BGP-LS is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
